You're still a golfer, and getting better still comes down to reps: flushing a 7-iron, cleaning up the takeaway, sharpening whatever part of your game needs it before the season. None of that changes because you play seated. A stand-assist rider brings you up into a full, balanced swing and holds you steady through it, so you can put that work in here, in a bay built for it, right through the New England winter.
How the rider works.
You settle into the rider and it secures you at the chest, waist, and knees before bringing you upright, with your feet on the ground and your weight supported so you're free to move through the ball.
From there it plays like any other round. You grip the club with one hand or two, set up to the screen, and swing, while the rider holds you steady through the motion and lowers you back down when you're finished.
The riders are SimCat units from VertaCat, built specifically for indoor simulator play. Two of our five bays are set up for adaptive play, with a level approach, room for the rider, and a seated-friendly setup at the screen.
